Adding an electric heat kit to your AUX Inverter Ducted System gives you auxiliary heating capabilities for colder days when the heat pump just might not be enough. The EKH-20-1 is a 20 kW heater and will provide approximately 68,000 BTUs of heat. A plug-in wiring harness allows for easy installation into your AUX Air Handler. The EHK-20-1 20 kW heat kit for use with 48,000 and 60,000 BTU AUX Inverter Ducted Indoor Air Handlers.
The EHK-20-1 electric heat strip will produce 20kW at 240V and 15kW at 208V (two 60 amp breakers required for either voltage). A great option for back-up heat!
