The innovative AUX Inverter Ducted System is designed to replace central air systems with an efficient heat and cool system that utilizes your existing duct work. It can be installed in a new build with ducting or easily replace your central air system with an efficient outdoor unit and indoor air handler. The inverter ducted systems uses R32, a refrigerant that replaces R410A. R32 is up to 12% more efficient, resulting in lower Global Warming Potential (GWP). The lower the GWP, the better for the environment. The indoor air handler offers versatile installation options and effortless maintenance.
 
An inverter system delivers high performance and maintains consistent temperatures throughout the year. Unlike a traditional compressor that frequently starts and stops, an inverter ducted system runs smoothly by continuously adjusting its power output to match your set temperature, keeping your home comfortable and stable. It is designed with built-in surge protection, giving it the ability to adapt to fluctuating power supply, and helps to protect the PCB.
 
The Air Handler System is installed completely out of view and air is directed through ducts or venting. The air handler can be installed in the basement or even in the attic. The AUX air handler can be installed vertically or horizontally, or even inverted. The unit is also and ideal solution for installations with false ceilings, as duct work can be run above the ceiling with vents installed right into the ceiling tiles. An air handler system is a cost-effective alternative to a traditional gas furnace/AC system.
 
Versatile Installation OptionsThe 60,000 BTU system, including a dual fan inverter/variable speed condenser (AHU60HPV1AO) and the air handler (AHU60HPV1AI), will deliver maximum efficiency for heating and cooling applications. A dual fan condenser is typically found on the higher BTU split systems, such as this one. The dual fan design allows the unit to accommodate the larger volume of air required to cool your home or spaces. With two fans, the load is shared, helping the compressor and coil stay cooler, resulting in a longer lifespan of your equipment. The AUX Regular Series will heat and cool with ambient temperatures from 5°F up to 125°F*. Additionally, electric heat kits are available to provide emergency or back-up heat during extremely cold conditions. For the 60,000 BTU system, two options are available (sold separately) - a 15 kW (EHK-15-1) and a 20kW (EHK-20-1) electric heat kit.
 
The system employs a long piping design of up to 164 ft. on 36K-60K BTU units (98 ft. on 18K-30K BTU units), providing additional installation flexibility and peace of mind across a wide range of homes and buildings. The AUX system is compatible with both 24V and RS-485 communication control. 24V control uses low-voltage signals to deliver simple commands such as turning the system on/off and fan, mode control. In contrast, RS-485 communication is a digital protocol that enables the system components to exchange detailed data for more advanced control, diagnostics and overall system coordination. 
 
A wall-mounted thermostat or controller is required for this system and is included. The AUX XK-06 uses an RS-485 communication bus and allows for complete control of your system. It features an 8-key, easy to use, touch button control pad. You have complete access to Power On/Off, Mode, Fan, Swing, Function and Scheduling, plus more. All displayed on an LCD white backlit screen. It also provides for WiFi communication.
