Adding an electric heat kit to your AUX Inverter Ducted System gives you auxiliary heating capabilities for colder days when the heat pump just might not be enough. The EKH-10-1 is a 10 kW heater and will provide approximately 34,000 BTUs of heat. A plug-in wiring harness allows for easy installation into your AUX Air Handler. The EHK-10-1 10 kW heat kit for use with 18,000, 24,000 and 60,000 BTU AUX Inverter Ducted Indoor Air Handlers.
The EHK-10-1 electric heat strip will produce 10kW at 240V and 7.5kW at 208V (60 amp circuit for either voltage). A great option for back-up heat!
