Product Overview
The VTX400 Atmosphere Vortex Fan is a 4" ducted in-line exhaust fan. Inline fans are designed to be integrated directly into ductwork and mounted in remote locations, such as attics or crawlspaces. The VTX400 can accommodate single or multi-port 4” ducts, and puts out 175 CFM under 0.2” W.C. of static pressure. It is designed to overcome high static pressure in long duct runs. Ideal for use in general-purpose exhaust and duct boosting applications.
The VTX400 features heavy gauge steel housing with a hammertone powder coat finish for sound absorption, durability and corrosion prevention. It is pre-wired with a 120V power cord. The VTX400 can be used in light commercial and residential applications and can be used in kitchens, bathrooms and garages to efficiently clean the air of odors, smoke and other contaminants as well as fumes and moisture. Other features include:
- 4” duct diameter
- 175 CFM at 0.2” W.C.
- Suitable for airstream temperatures up to 140°F (60°C)
- Permanently lubricated sealed bearings
- External rotor motor with automatic reset thermal overload protection
- Install in ceilings, floors, or walls
- Back Draft Damper: BDD-4 (available separately, please call for availability)
- Variable speed motor is 100% controllable with AVS-5 speed controller (available separately, please call for availability)
