The Intelli-Balance Elite Plus+ 150 (FV-15ESC1) is a customizable, high-efficiency Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) designed for both multi-family and new home construction. It meets ASHRAE 62.2 standards by ensuring healthy indoor air quality and balanced pressure. Key features include dual electronically commutated motors (ECM) with SmartFlow technology, a Multi-Speed selector for easily setting precise airflow (30 to 150 CFM supply and exhaust), and a user-controlled Boost function. Also featured is the ASHRAE 62.2 intermittent timer, which allows the user to set the number of minutes per hour that the ERV will run. It is adjustable up to 60 minutes per hour. The Intelli-Balance Elite Plus+ 150 for flexible installation with three mounting options and can be used in ANY North American climate with operation down to -22°F.
This high-performance Energy Recovery Ventilator continuously supplies fresh air while exhausting stale air. It employs four 6” supply and exhaust ducts and offers easy installation with the included mounting brackets. Installation options include ceiling, wall and floor mounting. Two ducts work to get fresh air delivered, with one drawing in fresh air from outside and one delivers that fresh air into the living space. The two ducts work similarly in that, one pulls stale indoor air back into the unit, and the other exhausts that stale air outside. Additionally, the Elite Plus+ 150 can be installed with the attached standard power cord or included hardwire adaptor kit. The Intelli-Balance Elite Plus+ 150 has two powerful electronically commutated motors (ECM) that provide quiet and efficient airflow.
The Intelli-Balance Elite Plus+ 150 gives you complete airflow customization through its built-in, digital multi-speed selector. The built-in control panel lets you select both the supply and exhaust airflow specific to your needs. Supply and exhaust rates are each adjustable for 30-150 CFM. This helps you to create a balanced pressure in your home. The digital control panel also displays error codes. All this is delivered with energy efficiency and quiet performance. Several optional controllers are available including a touchscreen wall control. In addition to ON/OFF and Standby Power Modes, the wall control allows for total control of your ERV offering multiple setting adjustments including boost, supply and exhaust, indoor and outdoor temperature settings as well as adjusting the CFMs.
The IntelliBalance Elite Plus+ 150 also includes filters - a Return Air (RA) filter and two Outdoor Air (OA) filters with a MERV13 rating. All filters, including the ERV Hygroscopic Transfer Core, can be cleaned with a vacuum but it is recommended to replace the MERV13 OA filter every 6 months or so (MERV6 washable filters are available as an option). The MERV13 filter offers high filtration, capturing smaller particles of pollutants like bacteria and even some viruses. The filters clean the air before passing through the ERV core. Indicator light and alarm alert you when the filters need to be inspected or cleaned. Filter maintenance and access is easy with its hinged access panel.
