Today's tightly built homes and buildings utilizing exhaust-only fans can create negative pressure. The Panasonic FV-06VE1 WhisperComfort 60 series supplies tempered fresh air and balanced exhaust airflow, to maintain neutral pressure throughout the entire home. It is suitable for use in new homes as well as remodeled, single and multi-family dwellings. It is a versatile option that can be installed either in the ceiling or wall. Simply install two duct runs, one for each air supply and air exhaust. The WhisperComfort is a stand alone ERV and does not require connection to an HVAC system.
Panasonic's WhisperComfort 60 is engineered for use in virtually any North American Climate Zone. This system has a sensible Recovery Efficiency of 70% at 32°F and a Total Recovery Efficiency of 60% at 95°F. Its high high-efficiency capillary core recovers heat and helps maintain desired moisture levels inside the home. It has two powerful DC electronically commutated motors (ECM) that provide quiet and efficient airflow. The WhisperComfort 60 features easy-to-replace MERV 13 filters and an anti-mold treated ERV core for simplified maintenance and lasting air quality. An optional FV-WC10VE1 WhisperVent Wall Cap (sold separately) allows for supply and exhaust air through one building penetration - up to 100 CFM each side.
Installation is easy with its 2 duct system (two 4" or 5" outlets; exhaust & supply) along with included mounting brackets. Convenient static pressure access ports assist with airflow verification. The WhisperComfort® 60 series is not for use in bathrooms. It is UL Listed for ceiling and wall-mounted installations.
