The WhisperValue DC fan features Pick-A-Flow which lets you choose the CFM for your specific installation needs. Choose the single speed that suits your needs best with a choice of 50, 80 or 100 CFMs. The exhaust fan is ideal for several residential installations including single family, multi-family and manufactured homes. The exhaust fan also features an ECM motor with SmartFlow technology which adjusts the fan speed to maintain peak performance. And it is Energy Star Rated!
The housing itself is 26 gauge galvanized steel, includes a built-in backdraft damper and 4" oval duct collar. The WhisperValue DC fan has a low-profile, with the housing extending only about 3.375" into the ceiling (less than a 2 x 4!). The body is 10.25" square and includes a 13" square cover. This exhaust fan can be installed in the ceiling, wall mounted or even installed in a tub/shower enclosure when GFCI protected. Included is a unique L-shaped bracket for ease of installation to either the left or right side of the stud.
The Panasonic PC-RD06C6 can be used to limit the spread of heat and fire through openings in fire-rated ceilings. It helps to limit any damage that may occur during a fire, preventing it from spreading between floors. It will automatically send a signal to close the damper blades.
