Product Overview
The Little Giant Condensate Pumps are designed to collect and remove condensation created when using air conditioning, refrigeration and dehumidification equipment. Additionally, some pumps can be used with oil and gas-fired condensing furnaces and condensing boilers. High efficiency furnaces, boilers and water heaters produce acidic condensate that can corrode plumbing and septic systems. It is required that acidic condensate is neutralized before disposal. The
VCMA-20-NPTC offers a safe and reliable solution in compliance with current plumbing codes. Tank Condensate Pumps are typically used when a gravity drain is not available. Each pump has specific lift heads that work to re-route the condensation up and away from your system. Typically, this type of condensate removal pump sits next to your system, either on the floor or mounted on a wall.
The VCL-24ULS Tank Condensate Pump is a vertical centrifugal pump design with a 1 gallon capacity collection tank that sits below the motor/pump. The VCL-24ULS 554211 runs on 230V electricity and includes a 6' power cord. The float switch turns the pump on when about 3.5" of water has collected and switches off when the tank drains to about 2" deep. The 554211 has an impressive maximum flow capacity of 270 gallons per hour (GPH) at 1' lift and a 24' shut-off. At 3' it can remove 260 GPH, at 5' it can remove 250 GPH, and at 9' it can remove 210 GPH. It is has a 120°F maximum fluid temperature. The
VCL-24ULS 554201 115V pump performs with the same removal and lift. The included safety switch can either be connected to shut down the condenser or wired to a tank overflow alarm.

The VCL-24ULS is constructed of durable plastic with a 3/8" barbed check valve. It is relatively compact in size, taking up about a square foot of floor space, measuring 12.1"l x 6"w x 10.4"h. Tubing is not included with this pump.
