With Skytech ON/OFF Smart Home Remote Kit turning on your fireplace is as easy as telling Alexa or Google Home to turn it on (or off). All you need is a standard Smart Plug that works with your Smart Home System! The Skytech 8001 will work with an existing Smart Home device and assuming it is already configured for your home, you likely have a Smart Plug that you know is compatible with your system. Simply configure your new 8001 receiver and transmitter, choose an outlet, plug in the Skytech adapter and transmitter and you will have a working smart fireplace remote!
The Skytech 8001 includes the receiver, remote, a smart plug adapter*, transmitter, a wall plate, batteries and instructions. It is a fully compatible kit. The SkyTech 8001 fireplace kit is specifically designed for simple push-button on/off control of your fireplace. The Skytech system will work with millivolt fireplace systems. Your gas valve needs to have TP/TH and TH terminals - typically the two outside terminals on your millivolt valve.
*You may be thinking - why doesn't the Skytech 8001 include the smart plug?! It does not include the smart plug because if it did, it would not work with your pre-configured Smart Home System. But the 8001 will work with any smart plug! If your Smart Plug includes a USB port, there will be no need for you to use the included adapter.
