The Intelli-Balance 100 (FV-10VE2) is a customizable, high-efficiency Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) designed for modern homes. It meets ASHRAE 62.2 standards by ensuring healthy indoor air quality and balanced pressure. Key features include dual electronically commutated motors (ECM) with SmartFlow technology, a Pick-A-Flow speed selector for easily setting precise airflow (30 to 100 CFM supply and exhaust), and a user-controlled Boost function. Also featured is the adjustable timer, which allows the user to set the number of minutes per hour that the ERV will run. Although it is factory set to 60 minutes/hour (or constant on), it is adjustable from 10 - 60 minutes per hour in 10 minute intervals. The Intelli-Balance 100 operates with whisper-quiet sound and is built for flexible installation, even in temperate climates down to 14°F.
This high-performance Energy Recovery Ventilator continuously supplies fresh air while exhausting stale air. It employs dual 4” intake and exhaust duct collars (which can also be configured for 6” connections), and offers easy installation with the included mounting brackets. The Intelli-Balance 100 has two powerful electronically commutated motors (ECM) that provide quiet and efficient airflow. The Intelli-Balance 100 gives you complete airflow customization through its built-in Pick-A-Flow speed selector. Supply and exhaust rates are each manually adjustable for 30-40-50-60-70-80-90-100 CFM. This helps you to create a balanced pressure in your home. For immediate needs, the occupant-controlled Boost function instantly overrides the setting to run the fan at high speed. Further customization is available via an adjustable Minutes Per Hour timer. All this is delivered with energy efficiency and whisper-quiet performance.
The IntelliBalance 100 also includes 2 filters - a Return Air (RA) filter and an Outdoor Air (OA) filter with a MERV8 rating. Both filters, as well as the ERV Core, can be cleaned with a vacuum but it is recommended to replace the OA filter every 6 months or so. The OA filter can easily be upgraded (sold separately) to a MERV13 filter. MERV8 filters larger particles such as dust and pollen whereas a MERV13 offers higher filtration, capturing smaller particles of pollutants like bacteria and even some viruses. The filters clean the air before passing through the ERV core. Indicator light and alarm alert you when the filters need to be inspected or cleaned. Filter maintenance and access is easy with its hinged access panel.
