The King KB ECO2S+ unit heaters come in a variety of heater sizes. The KB2410-1-ECO2S-PLUS offers a 10 kW / 10,000 Watt heater (approximately 34,100 BTUs) and a 725 CFM built-in fan, which is perfect for an insulated, three car garage that is up to approximately 900 sq. ft. For energy efficiency, it has 2-stage heating, with ECO Mode that automatically uses the lowest wattage needed to heat the room. The ECO2S+ also has integrated fan only and timer modes as well as a hand-held infrared remote control plus a remote room temperature sensor. The built-in control panel offers everything you need to control your heater with easy to use touch-button controls. The included remote control makes controlling your heater easier - especially if the heater is in a harder to reach area. The remote includes a wall holder so you don't so it wont be easily misplaced. Additionally, the KB ECO2S+ comes standard with a provision for adding an optional 24V thermostat for remote temperature control. Setting up a WiFi 24V thermostat such as a Nest makes controlling your garage heater even easier.
The ECOS2S+ offers a remote temperature sensor to give you balanced heat throughout your garage. By detecting the cold spot in your space, it works to heat the entire room to a comfortable level no matter where you are in the garage. The sensor can be placed anywhere in the room to achieve the temperature you want. However, it is best to avoid areas with extreme temperatures, for example near drafts, doors or windows in direct sunlight. The remote temperature sensor also includes a wall mount bracket.
The ECO2S+ also allows for "no heat" air circulation with its Summer Fan Only Setting helping to give your garage year round comfort. The built-in fan delay helps to dissipate the heat once the desired temperature has been reached. It also has Timer Modes. The built-in temperature control panel is easy to read and use. It has bright red LCD temperature display.
It is constructed from 20 gauge electro-galvanized steel, complete with a rust inhibiting enamel finish. The louvers are adjustable up and down for your best heat distribution. Spiral steel elements and high CFMs also help to ensure even air distribution while producing cooler element operation to help prolong the life of the heater. The KB ECO2S+ heater is designed for use as a primary or supplemental heat source in warehouses and stores as well as workshops and garage spaces. Included with the heater is a universal wall/ceiling bracket for simple installation, either on the wall or hanging from the ceiling. This heater requires 6" clearance on all sides and to the back of the unit. The maximum mount height for this unit heater is 10 ft.
