Some generators have fixed handles that may make adding and using a GenTent Running Cover difficult to use. By replacing your existing fixed handles with folding handles, your GenTent Canopy will easily fit over your generator, allowing the canopy and electrical aprons to make a watertight fit. The GTUACHDL00 handles can also be used to simply upgrade your portable generator with a convenient accessory!
The GenTent handles can easily accommodate round or square tubular frames from 1" to 1.5". The hinge flange is set at 1.5" but squeezes down to the frame size when they are bolted on. This kit requires vertical frame posts to mount to, and if no bolt hole exists on the frame, a 5/16" through hole must be drilled. The GenTent handles have been outfitted to smaller generators, all the way up to larger 22kw generators! Smaller frame diameters CAN be accommodated by adding grommets/spacers between the frame and handle (not included).
The GenTent Folding Handles are constructed of 1" Tubular Q235 Steel and include textured PVC rubber handles. The kit includes Stainless Steel Nuts and Bolts as well as UL94 V-0 rated Nylon Washers. Step by step instructions are included in this kit.
The folding handles include a three year limited warranty.
