This is the indoor unit only. It must be used with a compatible outdoor condenser.
The FPHFC12A3D 12,000 BTU unit is compatible with all Friedrich Multi Zone compressors. Each unit operates with its own remote control (included) or can be connected to a wall thermostat/controller. WiFi access and voice commands with Google Assistant or Alexa are also available with the Floating Air ceiling cassette units. The ceiling cassettes offer optimized air flow with 4-way cooling that gets the conditioned air to all corners of your space. The 12,000 BTUs will cool a room that is about 550 sq. ft. Factors such as windows, doors, computers and ceiling height must be factored in when calculating the BTUs you need for your specific installation requirements. The heat pump will give you 12,000 BTUs of heat. Because it pairs with an inverter compressor, it offers a cooling capacity range from 4,300 - 14,500 BTUs and heating capacity range from 5,500 - 18,000 BTUs. Low ambient operation, when paired with a multi-zone compressor, delivers extreme cold-climate heat pump performance with 100% rated capacity at 5°F, and heating operation down to -13°F, and cooling operation to 5°F.
The indoor ceiling cassette units in Friedrich's Pro X Series Floating Air Line feature built-in WiFi and access to FriedrichGo App for wireless control as well as Google Assistant and Alexa voice commands. The FPHFC12A3D - 12,000 BTU unit - is available for use in either multi zone or single zone (with compatible FPHFR12A3D outdoor unit) installations. Ceiling cassettes install easily into a drop-ceiling and mount flush to the ceiling. At Total Home Supply, we include the required grille cover (FPCG0912A) for a clean, finished look. The grille cover offers 4-way auto air-swing to reach all corners of your space.

- FPHMR27A3D - Can take 2 or 3 indoor units - 36,000 BTU Connected Capacity (minimum 13,500 BTUs connected)
- FPHMR36A3D - Can take 2 to 4 indoor units - 48,000 BTU Connected Capacity (minimum 24,000 BTUs connected)
- FPHMR42A3D - Can take 3 to 5 indoor units - 54,000 BTU Connected Capacity (minimum 27,000 BTUs connected)
