The Z-Flex 2LUBE2 Silicone Compound Joint Lube comes in a conveniently packaged with two (2) single use, 2 gram packets. This thick, paste-like compound is specially formulated for assembling stainless steel venting systems used with high-efficiency boilers, furnaces, and water heaters. Its consistency allows it to adhere to the gaskets without running or dripping, while helping vent pipe sections to slide together smoothly without damaging the factory-installed gaskets. This ensures the gaskets seat correctly, creating a reliable, leak-free connection.
Proper lubrication is essential, as dry assembly can cause gaskets to pinch or become distorted, increasing the risk of exhaust leaks. Designed for high-temperature exhaust applications, this product is not intended for general lubrication. Apply only a thin layer, as excessive use may interfere with proper sealing.
