The Loft Series Contemporary vent free burner is specifically designed for use on its own or with the addition of glass or rock media. It is designed to be used in a vent-free fireplace only. This VFIL Vent-Free Burner includes an Oxygen Depletion System to quickly shut off the gas if room oxygen levels drop to unsafe levels. The VFIL includes an electronic ignition and remote for variable flame height control as well as thermostatic. All you need is the media of your choice. So toss out the matches, turn on the valve and curl up by the warm fire for a comfy night at home!

This burner includes an electronic ignition that can be controlled on the remote. The remote can also control the thermostat as well as flame height. If this multi-sided loft burner is installed in a vented application, it CANNOT be used with a thermostat or remote and the damper must be clamped in an open position. It can only be used as a decorative appliance in an vented installation.
If you choose to enhance your Loft Contemporary Burner with decorative glass, four to five bags of glass media is recommended for full coverage for the VFIL30 burners. We have packaged the decorative glass and rocks in appropriated packages of 5 for use with the VFIL30. They are also available separately.

With a max. input of 40,000 BTUs, the VFIL30N is a Natural Gas Burner. It is also available in Liquid Propane (VFIL30P). Additionally, minimum fireplace clearances for the VFIL30 are

This appliance may be installed in an aftermarket permanently located, manufactured (mobile) home, where not prohibited by local codes.
A licensed gas technician is required for installation of this product. Please check your local regulations as some areas may require inspection after installation of gas products. It is highly recommended that you use your own gas technician or gas provider for any repairs.
*An additional main burner orifice is provided in instruction package envelope to reduce input of the vented burner assembly. As a vented product, this item can only be used as a decorative gas appliance and the damper must be open. Thermostats and thermostat remotes cannot be used when installed in a vented application.
