Is your empty fireplace an eyesore in your home? Fill it with a White Mountain Hearth Stacked Aged Oak Refractory Vented Log Set. With a gas log set you can make your fireplace come alive again without the mess and hassle of wood. Vented burners are certified for use in existing fireplaces and need to be vented through an open chimney or flue. Vented burners feature a higher BTU input, creating taller flames but are not for use as a heat source. When gas logs are used in a vented installation, they are certified for decorative use only and cannot be used with a thermostat. Vented burners are not convertible for use in a vent-free installation.
The 8-piece Refractory Stacked Aged Oak logs are carefully hand painted after aged Oak logs, mirroring the graying effect often found in fallen oaks. The hand crafting and painting provides you with the most realistic looking logs. The Stacked Aged Oak log set offers an outstanding look for just about any gas-equipped fireplace. The log set features both split and unsplit logs, displaying realistic looking cracks and splits as it sits nicely on an Empire Slope Glaze burner. The 18" set will look great in a 32 inch fireplace.
This Stacked Aged Oak Log Set is available in 18" (LS18-SRAO), 24" (LS24-SRAO) and 30" (LS30-SRAO). Vented burners are ideal for installation in an existing fireplace fitted with a gas line.
White Mountain Slope Glaze Vented burners feature internal ceramic beads forcing the gas to tumble around, offering realistic flames and flickers between the logs for a beautiful fire. The VSR burner includes a millivolt valve with an On/Off Switch. The VSR burner can be operated with a remote control or wall switch (sold separately - see Accessories below).
Your complete Vented Log Set will include the 8-piece refractory Stacked Aged Oak Log Set (your choice of size), VSR Slope Glaze Vented Burner Pan Assembly with Millivolt Valve (choice of size, valve and fuel type), Glowing Embers, Damper Clamp, and Decorative Rock. The damper clamp is included to keep the damper from accidentally closing during use. Burners are not field convertible for use with any other fuel type and cannot be used in a vent-free installation.
