Product Overview
An optional outside air kit is designed to introduce fresh, outside air to the firebox as desired. It is an important accessory in newer, more air-tight construction for an adequate supply of fresh air. Some local building codes may require the addition of an outside air kit.
When installing an air kit such as the VAK4, it must terminate at a clear, unblocked exterior location. Do not take combustion air from an inside space such as an attic or garage space.
This combustion air assembly is for use with Superior/Vanguard Vent Free Fireboxes. Actual item may vary in appearance versus photo. Included is a 4" air kit with collar, hood and 3 ft flex duct.
