When installing your Reznor heater above 6000 feet (1830 meters), a change in pressure switches is required. The high altitude pressure switch 1034349 is used with several Reznor heaters. Pressure switches are specific to Reznor heaters.
The 1034349 Pressure Switch is the appropriate kit required for high altitude installation of the following Reznor Heaters:
- UDX30
- UDX60
- UDX150
- UDZ60
- UDZ150
- UBX45
- UBX60
- UBX150
- UBZ45
- UBZ60
- UBZ150
It can also be used for under 6000 with Reznor units: UBX30, UBZ30, UDX30, UDZ30
Please note if you are installing your Reznor Heater above 2000 feet the input rate must be derated. This is done simply by adjusting the valve outlet (see installation manual). You do not need to install anything further.
