The Little Giant NC-2-220-V Vertical Condensate Neutralizer Tube with Media. Plumbing codes require that homes with high efficiency appliances treat the acidic condensate before it reaches the wastewater system. The use of the VCMA-20-NPTC is a great option for a neutralizing condensate pump and the NC-2-220-V is one of the media tube options for use that pump. It is for use with appliances up to 220,000 BTUs. The tube is installed between the appliance and the pump. The installation of this tube can be either vertical or horizontal. The tube is installed between the condensing appliance and the pump.
The neutralizing media is a blend of calcite and magnesium oxide to give you superior neutralizing performance. The kit includes:
- Built in screen
- Media filled sack
- Two 1/2-inch MNPT x 3/4-inch PVC adapters
- Two snap-in brackets
- Two 1/2-inch M x F Threaded 90
- Two 1/2-inch M x Socket
It is recommended that the media be changed once a year for the best performance, however, pH levels should also be checked as media may need to be replaced with more frequency.
