The 404 compact drain pump features an internal float. As the water flows in the float switch will activate and the grey water will flow out. Grey water is basically household water from tubs, showers, sinks, washing machines. This drain pump must be routed to a designate area away from your installation. Greywater is safe for gardens and perhaps the perfect discharge area! The gray water pump is ideal for bar sinks and laundry trays when pumping is required below gravity sewer lines. It can also be used under kitchen sinks or even portable washing stations at job sites with sinks but no draining abilities. It features top access panel to easily get inside the unit for any maintenance such as clearing excess lint or debris as well as access to the float for easy replacement. If your float needs attention, the QuickTree technology utilized allows for a quick removal and replacement without the need to disconnect the plumbing or removing the pump.
Have no fear if dirt and debris are mixed into your grey water. The 404 is equipped with 3/8" solids handling - reducing larger debris form entering the pump. A pump that offers solids handling allows solid particles and other materials through (up to 3/8" with the 404 drain pump), while transporting fluids. The 404 also has a high capacity flow rate. As an example, at 10 ft. head, this pump will direct up to 30 gallons a minute up and out of your space!
The 404 is fully assembled right out of the box. At just over 11" high this compact, low profile drain pump is connected below or next to your sink, basin or appliance. Inlet and outlet hoses are connected and the outlet hose must be discharged away from your space.
