The Hotpoint 9,000 BTU Class single zone mini split system includes both the HW09HN2DAB wall unit and the 1H09HN2DAB outdoor compressor. Inverter Technology is only the beginning of the standard money-saving features included with the Energy Star Rated Hotpoint ductless mini split systems. Inverter technology allows you to run your system much more efficiently, reducing energy costs, while cooling the space and reaching your set temperature more quickly. To help keep the room at a comfortable level, longer, the variable speed compressor runs at a lower speed instead of shutting off completely. This helps the system to maintain the set temperature, alleviating the need for the system to start up again from a completely shut down state.

The Hotpoint 9,000 BTU Indoor Wall Unit (HW09HN2DAB) uses 208/230V electricity. It will only operate with the compatible Hotpoint outdoor compressor (1H09HN2DAB). When paired as a system, you get great efficiency including 12.0 EER2, 18.0 SEER2 and 9.5 HSPF2 (IV*) and 7.2 HSPF (V*) ratings. These ratings translate to an Energy Star Rated System. The indoor unit includes a full function wireless remote as well as built-in WiFi, making it controllable from anywhere you have an internet connection. Simply download the SmartHQ app and you are on your way to wireless climate control. 

The 9,000 BTUs will cool a room that is about 400 - 450 sq. ft. Factors such as windows, doors, computers and ceiling height must be factored in when calculating the BTUs you need for your specific installation requirements. The heat pump will give you 10,000 BTUs of heat. Because of the inverter / variable speed compressor, the cooling range for the system is 3,300 - 11,000 BTUs while the heating range is 2,100 - 11,000 BTUs. The Hotpoint offers cooling operation from 14°F - 115°F and heating operation from -15°F to 75°F!
