The GRVT801005CN is a furnace that boasts a number of great features including a heavy-gauge steel cabinet with a rugged baked enamel finish, as well as a color-coded low voltage terminals to make thermostat installation as seamless as possible. And with a variable-speed ECM blower included, it supplies constant air, gently ramping up or down to meet comfort demands throughout your home. The GRVT801005CN uses an aluminized steel tubular primary heat exchanger paired with a stainless steel secondary heat exchanger for a durable, reliable combination of precision.

The Goodman GRVT801005CN furnace delivers an 80% AFUE efficiency rating, which means that it converts 80% of gas used into heat to keep your home comfortable and warm. The GRVT801005CN's two-stage valve offers two capacities at 50 and 100 percent to adapt to your specific needs. Its multi-position installation allows for upflow or horizontal left or right arrangements as well as removable bottom for side or bottom return applications. In an upflow installation, air enters from the bottom and flows out the top into the ducts above. An upflow installation is ideal for basements. It comes with a lifetime heat exchanger warranty to provide additional quality assurance. To take it one step further, if the heat exchanger stops working within the first 10 years, Goodman will replace the entire furnace! The furnace also comes with a 10 year warranty to cover all other parts.

The GRVT80 series of furnaces includes Smart Technology with the integrated communicating ComfortBridge Technology. Goodman has moved the circuit board "off-the-wall" (from the thermostat) and into your HVAC system, making it compatible with any single stage and smart thermostat. This opens the possible of many thermostats that can work with your system. ComfortBridge Technology constantly monitors your heating and cooling system. As it gathers data, it makes automatic adjustments, as needed, for your comfort, while using the minimum amount of energy. It learns your heating and cooling needs in the whole house keeping your comfort at optimal levels. Commissioning and diagnostics via indoor board Bluetooth with the CoolCloud phone/tablet app is also included.

The GRVT801005CN furnace doesn't take up a ton of room. It stands just under three feet tall with a less than a two foot square footprint. And like the rest of our products, the Goodman GRVT801005CN ships free anywhere in the contiguous United States.
