When paired appropriately, the GLZT7C Series can keep your home cool on the hottest days and toasty on the coldest days. Rated by Energy Star as Most Efficient in 2025, the GLZT7CA2410 is a 2.0 ton Heat Pump system offering 24,000 BTUs each cooling and heat pump capacity. Products that are recognized as the Most Efficient of ENERGY STAR in 2025 prevent greenhouse gas emissions by meeting rigorous energy efficiency performance levels set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
This two-stage Copeland UltraTech scroll compressor will work reliably and smoothly. The GLZT7C is a high efficiency compressor and offers fantastic efficiency ratings, allowable for installation in any area of the US, boasting SEER2 ratings up to 17.5 and HSPF2 ratings up to 8.2. The efficiency ratings set forth by DOE Efficiency Standards, declare that the GLZT7C series can be installed in any state in the US. It uses R32 refrigerant. R32 is one of several refrigerants being used that meets the new industry standards. R32 is more efficient than R410A, resulting in lower Global Warming Potential (GWP).
The GLZT7C series features a high efficiency compressor with a two-speed ECM condenser fan motor and a high-density foam compressor sound blanket. The 2.0 and 3.0 ton units include 5mm diameter copper tube/enhanced aluminum fin coil, while the 4 and 5 ton units include 7mm diameter copper tube/enhanced aluminum fin coil. The units also include several factory installed items including a bi-flow liquid line filter drier to protect the system from dirt and moisture, suction line accumulator, compressor crankcase heater, high capacity muffler, coil and ambient temperature sensors, as well as high and low pressure switches. The algorithm used with ComfortBridge Technology continually monitors your HVAC system performance data and automatically makes adjustments to minimize energy use. Goodman has moved the communication technology typically found in a thermostat right into your HVAC system, so even with a new HVAC system, you are not locked into a specific thermostat. Your system can be used with Google Home, NEST as well as other Smart Home Thermostats. For HVAC technicians and installers, ComfortBridge Technology allows wireless communication when installing or servicing your HVAC system. It offers diagnostics via on-board Bluetooth with Cool Cloud phone and tablet app.

Goodman Air Conditioners can be purchased by anyone, however, all split systems must be installed by a certified HVAC installer. Environmentally friendly R-32 refrigerant is pre-charged in the system for up to 15 feet of line. Experience is key to a successful split system installation. Only an experienced HVAC technician will have the knowledge and tools required to make sure that installation is perfect.
