Standard central air conditioning condensers are a significant part to a whole home comfort solution. Used with a coil or air handler, the GLXS3B Series can keep your home cool on the hottest days. The GLXS3BN2410 is a 2 ton Split A/C system offering 24,000 BTU cooling capacity.
This single stage rotary compressor will work reliably and smoothly. The GLXS3BN offers the lowest efficiency ratings allowable for installation in the Northern Region of the US. Due to the efficiency ratings set forth by DOE Efficiency Standards, this unit cannot be installed in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas or Virginia. West Virginia has its own standards. For commercial HVAC system installations, it is part of the Southeast region. For residential HVAC, West Virginia follows the national DOE efficiency standards for the Northern Region.
The SEER2 rating range for the GLXS3BN series of condensers is 13.4 - 13.7. It uses R32 refrigerant. R32 is one of several refrigerants being used that meets the new industry standards. R32 is more efficient than R410A, resulting in lower Global Warming Potential (GWP).
As you know, your air conditioning system is unsheltered from every single weather situation that exists in your region. Goodman Air Conditioners are built to last with a heavy gauge galvanized steel cabinet with a powder-paint Architectural Gray finish that includes 500-hour salt-spray approval. The finish process will keep your unit protected even in the harshest conditions. The cabinet also features a steel louver coil guard. Both top and side access make for easier maintenance and repair access. Additionally, it has single-panel access to controls with empty space provided for field-installed accessories.
Goodman wants your central air unit to last. A 10 year parts limited warranty is included. Warranty support and parts are only available to licensed contractors.

Goodman Air Conditioners can be purchased by anyone, however, all split systems must be installed by a certified HVAC installer. Environmentally friendly R-32 refrigerant is pre-charged in the system for up to 15 feet of line. Experience is key to a successful split system installation. Only an experienced HVAC technician will have the knowledge and tools required to make sure that installation is perfect.
