As efficient in cooling as any other GE products, this portable air conditioner provides three distinct functions in one convenient, portable unit: air conditioning with 3 fan speeds, dehumidification, and fan only operation. This unit is ideal for use anywhere you need quick, convenient comfort control, including but not limited to garages, dorm rooms, workshops, home offices, attics, basements. It is great to keep on hand for quick solves for cooling gaps almost anywhere in your space.
A portable air conditioner unit needs to be vented to an outdoor space such as out a window. An extendable window panel kit and an extendable (up to 5 ft.) exhaust hose are included. The window mounting kit includes 3 window panel pieces to accommodate many window sizes (20" min. - 46" max.) using different combinations of extension panels. The minimum window opening height is 20". The window installation kit easily installs in a double hung or sliding window. The APHS08WWF is perfect for medium sized spaces, up to about 350 sq. ft. All models include a remote control. An easy-to-access permanent, washable mesh air filter for easy maintenance keep your air clean and the unit running efficiently.
The APHS08WWF features built-in WiFi and offers an 8,000 BTU cooling capacity. With built-in WiFi and the SmartHQ app, you can monitor and control your unit from anywhere with your smartphone. The APHS08WWF is a 3-in-1 portable unit that will keep you comfortable with its 3 fan speeds and dehumidifier. The easy to read digital LED display makes it easy to manually adjust your settings. Other features of this portable air conditioner unit include 24 hr. On/Off Timer with 1 hour increments, Auto Restart, Cool Mode, Dry Mode (dehumidification), Fan Mode, Filter Check Reminder, Quiet Function, Remote Control.
The compact, portable air conditioner plugs into standard 115-volt HH outlet with a 6ft long power cord. It includes easy-roll casters for portability. A gravity drain hose is also included for continuous draining while the unit is in dehumidifying mode. The unit measures 16.61" x 27.76" x 13.19" (w x h x d) so storage should be easy, when not in use.
Unit is a SINGLE hose unit. The APHS08WWF can be upgraded to a dual hose unit with the addition of RAP04 dual hose conversion kit (sold separately, please call for availability).
This model meets the requirements for use in California and Washington.
This item replaces the APCA11YBMW portable air conditioner.
