Product Overview
The FHWW245WE2 is a window mounted air conditioner featuring inverter technology and built-in WiFi connectivity. It uses a variable speed compressor and adjusts the motor speed to regulate the room temperature while offering energy savings as well.
With the built-in WiFi, in conjunction with the Firgidaire App, you can completely control your comfort level no matter where you are as long as you are connected! If you are sitting in the same room, you can use simple voice commands via Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa or use the included remote to control your unit. This is a great unit that will efficiently cool a room that is about 550 - 700 sq. ft. It is Energy Star rated and offers a 13.3 CEER rating. It has 6-way air direction to keep even the furthest corners cool, while not blowing directly on anyone in the room. The unit itself is white and will blend into any window installation.
Rather than shutting off and on repeatedly throughout its use, the FHWW245WE2 compressor "revs up" and down to regulate the room temperature. Frigidaire Inverter window air conditioners provide exceptional cooling power that will keep you and your family cool, comfortable, and in control. In addition to the inverter technology used for savings, the unit also uses R32 refrigerant with low Global Warming Potential (GWP)! R32 refrigerant is more efficient than R410A which results in the lower GWP.
There is a reserved space behind the front grille cover to add a PureAir Premium Allergen filter. The Premium Allergen filter, rated MERV 14, captures household dust, pet hair dander, smoke and other fine particles. While this filter (FRPARAC11) is not included, it can be purchased separately. It would replace the washable filter screen included with the FHWW245WE2 air conditioner.
The unit is easy to operate with clearly visible LED display and easy to use touch pad for Power, Mode, Timer and Fan Speed. Additionally, it uses simple push buttons (- / +) for raising or lowering the temperature settings as well as wetting the timer. The included full feature remote is also includes easy to use touch pads. The 24,000 BTU unit features 3 cooling speeds (including sleep) and 3 fan only speeds.
