The Friedrich VRPXEMRTB4 is a wired electronic thermostat designed for use with Friedrich FreshAire PTAC units. Ideal for hotels, motels, schools, and offices with inconsistent occupancy, this thermostat delivers energy savings without sacrificing comfort. The wired Friedrich VRPXEMRTB4 features a new look with a fingerprint-resistant glass surface and industry-leading technology in energy management. Designed for use in hotels, schools, offices, and multi-dwelling units where occupancy is inconsistent. The VRPXEMRTB4 delivers energy savings without compromising guest comfort. The integrated occupancy sensor utilizes thermal and motion-sensing to facilitate consistent, reliable occupancy readings. Accurate occupancy monitoring reduces energy consumption when rooms are left unoccupied.
This wired thermostat offers multiple energy-saving presets making installation quick, simple, and effective. It also provides a full range of customized settings allowing each thermostat to be tailored for each room. HVAC run time can be reduced by up to 50%, making the utility savings substantial.
The wired VRPXEMRTB4 is specifically for use with Friedrich Freshaire PTACs and VRP Vert-I-Paks to maximize their full inverter capabilities.
It works alone as a non-networked device, or in conjunction with the EMOCT4 - Online Connection Kit (sold separately).
The VRPXEMRTB4 is black but it is also available in white (VRPXEMRTA4), as shown in the photo. It replaces the VRPXEMRT2.
