This is the 18,000 BTU indoor unit only. It must be used with a compatible outdoor condenser (RXM18WVJU9).
Daikin is pleased to present the first R32 refrigerant mini split system in the US. R32 is more efficient than R410A, resulting in lower Global Warming Potential (GWP). The lower the GWP, the better for the environment. The new Atmosphera Line by Daikin offers higher SEER2 and HSPF2 ratings, resulting in lower greenhouse gas emissions, while remaining efficient to use.
In addition to efficient ratings, the Daikin Atmosphera offers enhanced capacity comfort with 100% heating capacity at 5°F while continuing to offer heating as low as -13° (With optional drain pan heater). Additionally, it also offers 100% cooling in temperatures as high as 115°! These ambient temperature ranges for heating and cooling, make the Atmosphera capable of year-round comfort across most of the the United States.

New features for the Atmosphera include built-in WiFi, as well as Hybrid Cooling. The new Hybrid Cooling technology reduces humidity without overcooling your space with efficient dehumidification in low cooling loads and then maintaining dehumidification after the target temp is reached.
Of course the Atmosphera still offers a space saving design and installation connecting the space-saving outdoor unit connected to a wall mounted indoor via a pair of copper piping to heat and cool your room or zone. These lines open into a small three-inch opening through a wall or ceiling. The system is pre-charged to 49 ft. (vs 25 ft.) and offers longer piping allowances (98-1/2 ft. between units and 82 ft. height difference indoor vs outdoor units). Whether you're enhancing a single room or adding on an entire wing, the system's space-saving, modular design is ideal for set-apart areas like a garage office or nursery.

Total Home Supply will handle all warranty parts requests for any mini split purchased from us, but installation and all troubleshooting for this unit must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician. Any fees the technician may charge are not reimbursable by the manufacturer or by Total Home Supply.
