The Bradford White Brute FT Floor Standing Boiler is a great option for a residential boiler. The Brute FT line offers both a combination Boiler/hot water heater as well as a boiler only option. Both are Energy Star Rated and boast 95% AFUE efficiency ratings. The BFTHF199 is a floor standing boiler and is for heat only, not for Domestic Hot Water (DHW). However, it can be paired with a Bradford White Powerstor Indirect Fired Water Heater, for your DHW.
 
The durable stainless steel fire-tube heat exchanger offers a long life expectancy with superior heating performance. With stainless steel, there is less corrosion and your exchanger is able to deliver an extremely clean burn. Additionally Brute FT boilers come with Bradford White's 10 Year Warranty on the heat exchanger!
 
A boiler turndown ratio represents the difference between a boiler's maximum and minimum firing (heat output) capacity. The Brute FT Floor Standing Boiler has a turndown ratio, or range of operation of 10:1. The higher the turndown ratio, the more efficient your system is at lower heat loads. It offers full modulation ranges from 19,000 - 199,000 BTUs, to precisely match your building/home heating demands. And it is just as efficient at any load. This wide range of operating capacity also helps to avoid short cycling / on/off cycles.
