The Amana AE183J35AA window air conditioner unit comes standard with an easy to use electronic touch pad and remote control. With 17,200/17,600 cooling BTUs, an 11.6 EER and a 10.9 CEER (Combined Energy Efficiency Ratio), your energy savings are just around the corner. The AE183J35AA also includes electric heat to help warm you up in the cooler months. All units in the series have 3.5 kW electric heating with a capacity of 8,900/11,000 BTUs. The AE series uses R32 refrigerant with lower GWP compared to R-410A previously used.
A solid bottom on the outer case gives the unit a full seal and allow for through-the-wall installation. Amana cooling units also feature hydrophilic coating on the evaporator and condenser coils for better moisture removal, increased air flow, increased heat exchange, higher efficiency ratings and longer compressor life. The AE183J35AA features an electronic touch pad and a remote for easy control and front pull-out access to the permanent, washable filter, making cleaning easy. A built-in condensate drain spout helps keep the condensation draining away from the system. In addition to the 3 fan settings, the units also include 3 fan ONLY settings. The AE183J35AA also features auto swing 2 way/multi-directional air flow.
Amana units are fully tested in the factory for reliability and dependability.
