The Adey MagnaClean Professional 2XP ChemPack includes everything you need to get your new boiler system ready for years and years of outstanding performance! Included in a single kit, you get a MagnaClean Pro2XP Filter, a bottle of MC3+ Cleaner, one bottle of MC1+ Protector and a MagnaClean Rapid Test, an Automatic Air Vent (AAV) and Pro-press fittings.
Everything you need is included - first test - a handy rapid test is included to test for magnetite. Then, install the MagnaClean Professional2XP filter. It is recommended that it is installed on the return line, after the last radiator and before the boiler. This will allow a full system flush with the ADEY Chemical solutions. Dose the system with the included MC3+ Cleaner. The cleaner can be left in the system for up to 28 days but needs a minimum of 2 hours to work effectively. Once the system is drained of the the MC3+ cleaner, it is time to protect the system with the MC1+ Protector. The Protector helps to prevent future magnetite and scale build-up, as well as keeping the pH level in a neutral range..
MC3+ Hydronic Heating System Cleaner removes sludge, debris and scale from your closed-loop heating system. By loosening these damaging elements and allowing them to be flushed out, your system will operate more efficiently. The advanced formula removes corrosion from all metals and alloys commonly found in hydronic heating systems, including mild steel, copper, aluminum, and is compatible with all rubbers and other non-metallic components.
MC1+ Hydronic Heating System Protector helps to prevent scale build-up in closed-loop heating systems. Corrosion and scale build-up creates a narrowing inside the pipes that can lead to blockages and lack of efficiency due to the system overworking. MC1+ Protector is specially formulated to prevent wear and tear, scale build-up, as well as help prevent magnetite and other deposits from forming inside your closed-loop system. Once the system is clean, be sure to protect it for longer life.
For the homeowner, having your system cleaned with MC3+ and protecting it with the MC1+ Inhibitor you will remove damaging debris from your system, helping to restore its efficiency. And you will benefit from reduced heating and maintenance bills!
For the contractor, a single bottle of MC3+ treats 33 gallons of boiler water. It is recommended to use the MagnaClean canister to dose the system. It can also be used via the purge and fill point or radiator with a suitable injector. Once the system is cleaned and drained (until the water runs clear), refill the system and add a dosage of MC1+ Protector to protect against future build-up and corrosion. The MC3+ Cleaner can be left in a system for up to 28 days however, the average is 4 hours to 7 days.
