The Adey MC3+ Hydronic Heating System Cleaner helps to keep your system free from scale. As we know water causes corrosion. Corrosion and scale build-up creates a narrowing inside the pipes that can lead to blockages. This build-up and narrowing can cause your heating system to become less efficient. MC3+ Cleaner is specially formulated to remove both black iron oxide sludge and limescale deposits.
MC3+ cleaner removes sludge, debris and scale from your closed-loop heating system. By loosening these damaging elements with the MC3+ Cleaner and allowing them to be flushed out, your system will operate more efficiently. The advanced formula removes corrosion from all metals and alloys commonly found in hydronic heating systems, including mild steel, copper, aluminum, and is compatible with all rubbers and other non-metallic components.
For the homeowner, having your system cleaned with MC3+ will remove damaging debris from your system, helping to restore its efficiency. By restoring its efficiency you will also benefit from reduced heating and maintenance bills!
For the contractor, a single bottle of MC3+ treats 33 gallons or 15 single panel radiators. It is recommended to use the MagnaClean canister to dose the system. It can also be used via the purge and fill point or radiator with a suitable injector. Once the system is cleaned and flushed (until the water runs clear), refill the system and add a dosage of MC1+ Protector to protect against future build-up and corrosion. The MC3+ Cleaner can be left in a system for up to 28 days however, the average is 4 hours to 7 days.
