This Elite Radiant Vented Burner will deliver more heat and livelier flames to your fireplace. It offers unique construction and an integrated radiant fiber heat sink. This helps the burner to produce beautiful flames without sand or vermiculite.  A vented burner is only available in a manual model and a millivolt model. This Elite Radiant Vented burner includes a millivolt valve and hi/lo remote and is UL Certified. The Hi/Lo remote allows for low to high flame adjustment not temperature. Thermostats cannot be used with vented burners.

The main advantage of a vented burner is the more realistic yellow flame created by the open flue. Unfortunately, to get the more realistic fire-look, the heat goes up the chimney as well. But with the Elite Radiant Vented Burner, more heat is radiated back into your room.

The BFR30RN 30" Elite Radiant Burner with Millivolt Valve and Hi/Lo Remote uses either the Kensington Forest or Pioneer Log Set ONLY. Minimum fireplace dimensions are:
  • Front Width: 36"
  • Height: 20"
  • Rear Width: 30"
  • Depth: 16"
  • CHIMNEY HEIGHT: 6' Min.

For the Elite Radiant Burner with Hi/Lo Remote, the Regulator Pressure Setting is 4.5", with Min. / Max. Gas Pressure of 5.0" / 10.5".  This burner comes standard in Natural Gas. A Liquid Propane Conversion Kit (CKV120) is available separately. If this burner is converted to Liquid Propane, the Pressure Settings are slightly different.

A licensed gas technician is required for installation of this product. Please check your local regulations as some areas may require inspection after installation of gas products. It is highly recommended that you use your own gas technician or gas provider for any repairs.

This burner is intended to be installed in an approved, existing, fully vented wood-burning fireplace equipped with a gas hook-up. It is certified for use in an existing fireplace with an open damper flue equipped with a damper clamp (included with burner) to keep the damper from accidentally closing during use. Vented systems do not burn the gas used cleanly and therefore need to be exhausted through an open chimney - similar to burning wood. A vented burner is not convertible to vent-free operation.

A vented burner is only rated as a decorative system and is not for use as a heat source and cannot be operated by a thermostat.
