Product Overview
The Phantom 10 Series (PH10) of Mars Air Doors offers a variety of lengths to provide an environmental barrier to your space of up to 12 feet, while protecting your space from insects up to 10 feet. The PH10 is recessed into the ceiling, blending in to its surroundings while still offering performance and protection to your space.
This unheated, 208-230/1/60, air door also features two 1/2 horsepower motors. The units are typically suspended from the ceiling and hidden inside the false roof. They can also be wall mounted using special brackets. The air curtain includes a washable polyester filter, features durable aluminum construction and includes four 1" Pearl White trim pieces. A variety of lengths from 36" to 144" is available. The PH1072-2UD-PW unit is 72" long and includes two 1/2 hp motors. Some sample installation applications include shipping/receiving doors, customer entrances, cold storage rooms and many more. Ideal installation height is 8' - 10' for the PH10 series, however it will provide environmental separation up to 12' and flying insect control up to 10'.
The PH10 air curtain offers a cost efficient barrier that will blend in to any environment. Its durable metal construction is finished in a powder-coated pearl white finish to meet your design aesthetics. Units 36" to 48" long feature a single motor, units 60" to 96" feature a 2- motor design, 108" have 3 motors and 120" - 144" have 4 motors. Units from 84" - 144" feature a two-piece design and are installed in tandem.
The chart below lays out all the optional lengths available for the PH10, 208-230/1/60 air curtain. The highlighted row is specific to this item. Simply choose your length based on your installation needs. A separate relay or relay with time delay is required to operate the PH10 air curtain.
Door limit switches automatically activate and de-activate (start and stop) the air curtain when the door(s) open and close. A controller that offers time delayed control reduces the cycling of the air curtain motors in high traffic areas (10+ times/hour). This type of controller will delay the unit from turning off when the door closes. They can usually be set from 6 seconds to up to 20 minutes. Available door switches and controllers for the PH10, 208-230/1/60 unit include:
- Controller J0022 - Commercial low voltage controller, 208-230V, 1Ø, adjustable time delay, with commercial plastic surface mounted door limit switch (field installed)
- Door Limit Switch (99-014) - Combination Plunger/Roller mechanical
- Aluminum Switch (99-124) - Floor-mounted
- Aluminum Switch (99-125) - Surface-mounted
- A separate externally mounted control panel is required for use with 99-124 and 99-125. The MCPA-1UD for single motor units (36" - 48"); MCPA-2UD for 2-motor units (60" - 96"); MCPA-3UD for 3-motor units (108") AND MCPA-4UD FOR 120" -144" unit (4 motors).
