Wallmaster through-the-wall air conditioners are built with commercial-grade construction with the highest quality materials and components. They deliver dependable operation in some of the harshest environments and feature a solid-side sleeve with no side vents, allowing you to install this unit through walls up to 15 15/16" deep without compromising performance. The Friedrich Wallmaster Series is a perfect fit in competitors 27" sleeves - including Fedders A and B sleeves - making it a perfect replacement for older units. A sleeve is required for all new installations. Mounts flush with exterior. This unit uses a WSE sleeve (sold separately). The WSE sleeve includes a standard grille.
 
The WallMaster Series now uses the newer, efficient R-32 refrigerant. R32 is up to 12% more efficient than R410A, resulting in lower Global Warming Potential (GWP). The lower the GWP, the better for the environment. The WallMaster Series also includes Precision Inverter Technology. An inverter compressor is constantly adjusting its speed to meet and maintain your comfort level. A standard compressor will reach the set point and shut down completely, only to start up again to reach the set point, again. Hard stops and starts contribute to unnecessary wear and tear on the compressor. The WallMaster Inverter Line of cooling only air conditioners is also Energy Star Rated. The WCVT16B30A has an EER rating of 9.4 with a CEER of 12.6. Several units are available, including 10K and 12K units available in both 115V and 230V, plus a 16K BTU 230V unit. Below is an example of a standard compressor (the gray line) and and inverter compressor (the blue line).

The WCVT16B30A gives you 16,800 BTUs of cooling capacity and uses 230V outlet. With its Precision Inverter compressor, the WCVT16B30A can run as low as 8,000 BTUs and as high as 16,800 BTUs, depending on your rooms' needs. By adjusting its speed, the inverter compressor maintains a more consistent temperature, using less energy. Enclosed fan motors allow the unit the run at lower temperatures to prevent overheating, while the solid sleeve top protects the fan from falling debris that could potentially damage the unit. These features combined ultimately lengthen the life of your air conditioner.
 
The WallMaster Series units feature built-in WiFi connectivity through the FriedrichLink app and are also voice command compatible with Alexa and Google Home. Whether you are at home, in the same room or not, or away from home, you can control your unit with your smartphone.
