Uni-Fit Series air conditioners offer a Universal Fit for replacing most older units using their existing sleeves without complicated, time-consuming retrofits. The Uni-Fit Series' characteristically small dimensions are specifically designed to replace virtually any thru-the-wall air conditioner, while the solid-side sleeve makes the Uni-Fit model ideal for installation through thicker walls without compromising the performance of the unit.
 
The Uni-Fit UCT08B10A unit uses R32 refrigerant with low Global Warming Potential (GWP)! R32 refrigerant is more efficient than R410A which results in the lower GWP.
 
In addition to having built-in WiFi, other features of the UCT08B10A Uni-Fit include 8,000 BTU cooling capacity in a thru the wall installation, smart home/voice command compatibility, auto restart, washable filter, 8 way air flow control, a 24 hr. timer and a Money Saver® setting. Download the FriedrichGo App and you will have control over your Uni-fit at home or away. It is also compatible with Google Home and Alexa. 
 
The chassis is designed to fit 24-1/2”, 26" or 27” sleeves. The unit includes a universal fit decorative trim ring to close the gap if using a competitor sleeve. New installations require a sleeve. The Friedrich USC sleeve (sold separately) fits standard 26” sleeve opening. It also includes all accessories required for installation - inner and outer weather panels and a standard grille. The USC sleeve is 15-1/2"h x 25-7/8"w x 16-3/4"d.
