Kuhl air conditioner motors operate at a lower temperatures than standard grade motors, preventing overheating. Aluminum end plates prevent rusting and easy grip handles make installation and maintenance quick and easy. But commercial grade construction does not mean that this unit cannot be installed in your home. The Friedrich KHVS10B11A will plug into any standard household 115 volt outlet and keep you and your loved ones comfortable!

The Friedrich KHVS10B11A unit uses R32 refrigerant with low Global Warming Potential (GWP)! R32 refrigerant is more efficient than R410A which results in the lower GWP. The Friedrich Kuhl Series KHVS10B11A Air Conditioner comes with a neutral gray front face plate, to blend into virtually any room. With its Precision Inverter Technology, the compressor runs at different speeds. It will run at a higher speed to cool your space quickly then, once it reaches the set temperature, the compressor slows down. This allows the room to maintain a set point without constant shutting down and re-starting. Because of its variable speed compressor, the new Kuhl units are more energy efficient, lowering your energy use as well as wear and tear on the compressor. It will cool a small sized room that is about 450 sq. ft. The KHVS10B11A can be installed either in a window or mounted in your wall. Window installation kit is not included with heat and cool models but can be purchased separately (KWIKSB, please contact us).
Your Kuhl KHVS10B11A features cooling, heat pump operation as well as backup electric heat. The cooling capacity ranges from a low of 5,000 BTUs to a high of 10,000 BTUs. While the heat pump offers a heating capacity of 8,700 BTUs. Plus this unit connects in minutes with the FriedrichLink App. You can easily create a customized 7-day program that fits your lifestyle, including home, away and night time preferences, as well as control your unit from anywhere at any time! Control functions such as power on/off, raise or lower set points, even change system modes (cool, fan and auto settings) and fan speeds. Additionally, if you have multiple units installed, the Friedrich advanced grouping program allows you to control multiple units to work independently or as a single system. You can even include other users to manage one or more of your units.

The Kuhl Smart Air Conditioner line can also be installed as an in-wall installation. The finished hole for an in-wall installation would be 16-3/16"h x 26-3/16"w with a maximum depth of 7-3/8".
This unit features the Friedrich small chassis and replaces the KHS10A10A Kuhl unit.
