Now Kuhl is part of Friedrich's Smart Room Air Conditioners with integrated WiFi control that works with your smartphone. They are also Amazon Alexa and Google Home compatible. Constructed of the highest quality materials and components, Kuhl delivers dependable operation in some of the harshest environments. Its fully enclosed fan motor seals out dirt. Kuhl air conditioner motors operate at a lower temperatures than standard grade motors, preventing overheating. Aluminum end plates prevent rusting and easy grip handles make installation and maintenance quick and easy. But commercial grade construction does not mean that this unit cannot be installed in your home. The Friedrich KHS10A10A will plug into a standard 110-120 volt outlet and keep your space comfortable! Friedrich Air Conditioners operate with outdoor temperatures between 60°F and 115°F.
Kuhl's smart room air conditioners also feature Quietmaster Technology making them 45% quieter than competitor's products. Quietmaster technology features sound-blocking insulation, a rotary compressor mounted on rubber grommets and steel inner walls. The Friedrich Kuhl+ Series KHS10A10A Air Conditioner offers 10,000 BTU cooling capacity and includes 8,800 BTUs from the included Heat Pump. Heat Pumps provide energy-efficient heating by extracting heat from the outside air. They can be used for primary heating in moderate climates and as supplemental heating in colder climates. Although this unit does include a heat pump, this unit DOES NOT include back-up electric heat. The Kuhl+ units include with a neutral gray front face plate. The 10,000 BTUs will cool a medium sized room that is about 500 sq. ft. The KHS10A10A can be installed either in a window (window kit not included) or mounted in your wall. Window installation hardware kit is available (KWIKSB please call for availability).
Your Kuhl+ KHS10A10A air conditioner connects in minutes with the Friedrich Connect App. You can easily create a customized 7-day program that fits your lifestyle, including home, away and night time preferences, as well as control your unit from anywhere at any time! Control functions such as power on/off, raise or lower set points, even change system modes (cool, fan and auto settings) and fan speeds. Friedrich's advanced grouping program allows you to control multiple units to work independently or as a single system. You can even include other users to manage one or more of your units.

The Kuhl+ KHS10A10A Smart Air Conditioner line is best installed as an in-wall installation. The finished hole for an in-wall installation would be 16-3/16"h x 26-3/16"w with a maximum depth of 7-3/8". A window kit (sold separately, please call for availability) is required if it is to be installed in the window.
