The new Chill Premier Inverter Series is Friedrich's Premium Line of "smart" room air conditioners now with variable comfort / inverter technology. The Premier Inverter units allow for the compressor to operate at the capacity needed at any given time. No more total unit shut off, just a lower speed circulating your cool air. As a homeowner, you will appreciate the efficiency provided by a variable compressor versus a traditional compressor that completely shuts down and restarts when needed. With inverter technology, the fan slows down as your room reaches the set point and keeps it at that level. If more cooling power is needed, the fan will increase and produce cool air to bring your room back to temp. Inverter technology also allows for a wider range of operational capacities. For example, an 8,000 BTU unit, with its Precision Inverter, can run as low as 6,000 BTUs and as high as 10,000 BTUs, depending on your rooms' needs.
Chill Premier Inverter Units are an extremely efficient line of 115 Volt air conditioners with integrated WiFi. Integrated WiFi allows you to control your Chill Premier in conjunction with the Friedrich Go App right from your smart phone. It is also compatible with Amazon Alexa. Once you download the Friedrich Go App, you can easily create and set a custom cooling schedule that fits your schedules and preferences. Anywhere, anytime, with the Friedrich Go App, you can switch your unit on and off, adjust the temperature, system mode and fan speeds, as long as you have a WiFi connection.
The Chill Premier Inverter Series also includes Friedrich's QuietMaster technology which provides the user with Library Quiet Operation - you will not have to speak over the fan on this unit - check out the comparison sound levels for this line! And, because it is running with an inverter there are no hard stop and stops in the compressor motor.
QuietMaster technology features heavy duty insulation on the inner wall for sound absorption as well as a stiffened sheet metal casing to help block external noise. Vibration reducing counterweights also help to reduce the sound. Additionally, the wide discharge vents optimize airflow and minimize front panel noise.
The Energy Star Rated CCV10A10A unit features 10,000 BTUs, and a CEER rating of 15.0. It uses the newer, efficient R-32 refrigerant. R32 is up to 12% more efficient than R410A, resulting in lower Global Warming Potential (GWP). The lower the GWP, the better for the environment.
The Chill Premier Inverter Series features 3 cooling speeds, plus 3 fan-only settings and auto fan, 8-way air flow control and a new one-piece frame for fast, easy installation. Of course it includes the standard installation hardware and expandable side curtains and it is lightweight - about 58 lbs. Other features include:

Chill Premier Inverter Series also includes a window installation kit with solid side flaps (vs accordion-style). The three-step installation kit includes a one-piece frame, included hardware and expandable side panels to lock the unit in place.
