The Daikin Aurora Series offers consumers Enhanced Capacity with a 20.3 SEER rating when used with the comparable indoor wall unit and a 19.4 SEER with the Ducted Concealed indoor unit. and a wide range of heating and cooling capabilities. With an enhanced capacity of up to 100% Heating Capacity at 5°F/-15°C and 100% Cooling Capacity up to 104°F/40°C, this is a perfect single zone, 15000 BTU mini split system for cold weather climates. Even if it is colder this system ensures year round comfort with outdoor temperature ranges for heating from -13°F up to 65°F and standard cooling ranges from 50°F up to 115°F. Plus it is great for server rooms that may need to be kept cool even when it is cold outside with a cooling range is from -4°F to 115°F, (with field setting adjustment and optional wind baffle). Both low temperature operating ranges help to make this system a great solution as a primary heating and cooling source almost anywhere in the USA.
Offers a space saving design, quiet operation and an inverter "variable speed" compressor. Instead of noisy compressors and large ductwork, Daikin uses a smaller, easily concealed outdoor unit connected to a wall mounted indoor via a pair of copper piping to cool your room or zone. These lines open into a small three-inch opening through a wall or ceiling. Its streamlined, wall-mounted indoor units and compact outdoor units blend in discreetly with any home design and run quietly, too.
