With inverter drive technology, the Climate 5000 systems are Energy Star Rated. Inverter technology will save you money in the long run, by lowering your energy costs while still delivering consistent temperature and humidity levels. Rather than shutting down completely when a desired temperature is reached, an inverter unit is constantly adjusting to meet the demands of your space, maximizing efficiency while operating quietly!
Bosch mini split systems offer easy installation. All connections between the indoor units and outdoor unit, including electrical, refrigerant and condensate drain lines, all run through their own small 3" hole from the inside to the outdoor compressor.
Indoor wall units like the 12,000 BTUs (8733953095; BMS500-AAU012-1AHWXB) include a multi-part filter system that keeps the air clean and refreshed by reducing allergens, viruses and bacteria. The filter systems helps to trap dust, pollen and other particles that make breathing a problem for allergy sufferers. Cleaning the filters is quick and easy with warm soapy water and rinse. Plus the system is equipped with a Self-Cleaning Mode that helps to remove additional particles internally and excess moisture, with blue-fin technology, reducing or eliminating mildew. With today's focus on indoor air quality, the Bosch units help alleviate some of the causes of unhealthy air.
The wall units offer a modern look that blend seamlessly into any room. The Digital Display Window on the front of the wall unit illuminates for a few seconds, indicating the temperature, operation feature and Error Codes (if present). The Sleep Function on this unit increases the room temperature in the Cool Mode (decreases the room temperature in the Heat Mode) incrementally by 2° after the first and second hours, when used.

Bosch Climate 5000 Series 12,000 BTU Outdoor Condenser Unit (8733942698; BMS500-AAS012-1CSXRA) features Inverter Drive Technology provides optimum power control and extremely efficient operation by automatically changing the condenser power. The result is speedy, flexible operation that uses less electricity. It constantly adjusts the compressor rotation speed to provide optimum performance at all times. Once the set temperature is achieved, the system continues to operate with minimum power.
The Bosch Climate 5000 System operates at low ambient temperatures and delivers 100% heating capacity at temperatures as low as -5°F, with no additional hardware or accessories required. It also includes a factory installed base pan heater that keeps the condensate from freezing in extreme conditions. This system will also cool at low temperatures for national usability.

The Bosch Single and Multi-Zone Systems must be installed by a qualified, licensed HVAC technician. Manufacturer covers parts only under warranty. Installer is responsible for labor warranty.

Product Warranty
For Products installed in a one or two family residential dwelling, Bosch Thermotechnology Corp. (BTC) warrants that all compressors and internal components incorporated into the Product at the time of shipment by BTC shall remain free from defects in workmanship and materials for ten (10) years on compressor and seven (7) years* on parts from the Commencement Date as defined below:
- For Products installed in newly constructed homes: date of home purchase by homeowner from builder.
- For Products installed in existing residences: original date of installation.
