The AUX MS standard line of multi zone mini split systems offers a host of convenient features. The standard MS multi zone series deliver efficient cooling with outdoor temperatures ranging from -13°F to 125°F and reliable heating from -13° - 75°F - providing dependable, year-round comfort from the coldest winter days to the warmest summer weather! Indoor units for the AUX multi-zone systems are available in a wide range of BTU options to best customize your system to your specific needs.
The 12,000 BTU AFEB12HP230V1CH indoor wall unit can be used in multi-zone installations or paired with the compatible single zone outdoor unit as a full single zone system (AFEB12HP230V1C). The single zone system delivers 12,000 BTUs cooling and 12,300 BTUs heat pump operation. It uses 230V electricity. The 12,000 BTU indoor unit can be used in several multi-zone installations, including the 18,000 BTU Dual Zone, 24,000 Tri-Zone, 30,000 and 36,000 BTU Quad-Zone and 42,000 BTU Five-Zone units.
The AFEB12HP230V1CH wall unit features over 1900 micro-vents to create a gentle, quiet airflow throughout your space. This type of dispersed airflow is perfect for sleeping. When you are in the room, the indoor unit offers voice-control operation (English
Only) to give you control using simple commands, without the need for an app or your remote. Additionally, built-in WiFi control allows operation of your system via the app from anywhere. The indoor unit allows you to choose your fan speeds (L/M/H) plus offers AUTO (which adjusts speed automatically). Additionally, you can choose from Quiet (Q) for extra low fan speed and minimal noise as well as Super High (SH) for rapid cooling or heating.
The AUX mini-splits are easy to install right out of the box, typically requiring a single person for installation*. The installation template includes a built-in level and the kick-stand and removable underjaw help the process move quickly and easily. AUX indoor wall units include an easy-to-reach, vertically mounted PCB for improved serviceability. A unique feature for the AUX line of mini-splits is "I-Feel". The remote has a temperature sensor that detects the temperature around the user and adjusts for maximum comfort. The indoor unit has an LED display to easily see the temperature and any error codes. It can be turned off for a sleeker look.
Each AUX indoor wall unit operates with its own remote control (included). The 12,000 BTUs will cool up to approximately 550 sq. ft. The heat pump will give you 12,000 BTUs of heat. It also boasts built-in WiFi for wireless control as well as Google Assistant and Alexa voice commands. Factors such as windows, doors, computers and ceiling height must be factored in when calculating the BTUs you need for your specific installation requirements. Warranty Information
- Parts: 5 Years Limited Warranty if unit is not registered / 12 Years Limited Warranty if unit is properly registered online.
- Compressor: 7 Years Limited Warranty if unit is not registered / 12 Years Limited Warranty if unit is properly registered online.
- Labor: None
Warranty extension is available if the unit is properly registered within 60 days of purchase and is installed in an owner occupied residential application.
The warranty is void if the equipment is not installed by a licensed HVAC technician. The warranty for this unit is for parts only, and does not cover labor or diagnostic services. Total Home Supply will handle all warranty parts requests for any mini split purchased from us, but installation and all troubleshooting for this unit must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician. Any fees the technician may charge are not reimbursable by the manufacturer or by Total Home Supply.
