True to its heritage, Triangle Tube has taken hot water heaters to another level. The indirect-fired Smart316 Line of water heaters, does not have its own burner or heating element. Because it starts with hot water from the boiler, it is considered a closed loop system. A cool feature on the Smart Line is the innovative tank-in-tank technology used. From the outside, its appearance is similar to a conventional storage tank hot water heater. But inside is where the magic happens. There is a corrugated stainless steel tank suspended within a stainless steel outer tank. The inner tank is where your household water is heated for use. Hot water from the boiler flows into the space between tanks. Since the inner tank is completely immersed within the outer tank, the hot water from the boiler completely surrounds the water being heated. The entirety of the corrugated inner tank is used to heat the water needed for your household. This closed loop system is extremely efficient as well, as it is using the hot water already produced for your heating system, therefore less energy is being used to heat your water. The inner tank is constructed of corrugated 316 stainless steel, forming a large heat exchange surface and keeps the Domestic Hot Water (DHW) totally separate from the boiler water being used to heat your household water.

The connections for water supply are located on the top of the unit, while connections to the boiler are located on the side of the tank for ease of use and installation. Everything about the Smart316 Line is quality and built to last. It is constructed of a 316 Stainless Steel Outer Tank with a 316 Corrugated Stainless Steel Inner Tank.

The third warranty in their program is the BEST warranty they offer. It increases the Labor Allowance to 3-years, and the Parts to 6-years. Again the 6-year Tank Warranty remains unchanged. For Triangle Tube's BEST tier Warranty, the boiler and tank must be installed at the same time and in addition to providing the customer and contractor information when registering, simply upload a photo of the combustion analyzer readings.
