Reznor’s UWS series suspended hydronic heaters use a technologically advanced system of hot water pressure to deliver even, effective heat in commercial and industrial settings. The UWS heater is operated with hot water, produced by a boiler, that flows through the heat exchanger. When paired with an HE boiler or hot water heat pump system, the UWS hot water units help to improve a building's sustainability while reducing the environmental impact.
The UWS series features a front facing design with all hook-ups on the rear of the unit. The multi-speed motor is totally enclosed and protected against water spray. In addition to the quiet operation, the UWS line also offers tailored air delivery with its directional control options from horizontal to vertical and all angles in between. The UWS Series offers two-point suspension for horizontal discharge and four-point suspension for downward discharge. The UWS Hydronic Heaters are all ready for installation with 115/1/60 supply voltage.
The spacing between the fins makes for easy cleaning and maintenance, an essential feature for keeping the unit heater efficient. For added durability, the heat exchanger is coated in a special paint to better protect the coil over time, as well as increase the unit’s thermal efficiency. All heat exchangers are subjected to a pressure test at over 350 psi (25 bar) before leaving the factory, and the durable steel tubing makes this unit suited for use at a high working hot water pressure up to 150 psi.
The UWS159/191 features a fan/motor assembly made up of three components: the fan, the motor and the fan guard, which also acts as the main support for the fan. The fan offers variable speed control from low to hi with a simple wired control knob (shipped with unit). The fan guard is galvanized for protection against corrosion, and is mounted onto the main casing with anti-vibration rubber mountings. All UWS series heaters can be installed for either vertical or horizontal discharge.

Product Warranty
Product Warranty: Limited to twelve (12) months from the date of original installation, whether or not actual use begins on that date, or eighteen (18) months from date of shipment, whichever occurs first.
Parts Limited Warranty: 30 days after installation or 13 months from date of shipment which ever occurs first.
Extended Warranty: Extended 4 Year non-prorated warranty on all electrical and mechanical operating components.
