Product Overview
Adding a heater coil to your Goodman Air Handler will allow for heating capabilities in the winter. The 14.2 kW coil will provide 48,452 BTUs of heat. A plug-in wiring harness allows for easy installation into a compatible air handler.
Standard features of the Goodman Heater Coils include sequencers for better temperature control, multiple branch circuit capabilities and rust-resistant nickel chromium heat elements. The heat coils are ETL Listed.
The HKSC15XA is a single phase 208V electric heater and there is a factory-installed circuit breaker on this model. It will supply 14.2 kW/208V.
It is for use with many air handlers including:
SkyAir Air Handler Models:
- FTQ42TAVJUA - FTQ48TAVJUA*
- FTQ42TAVJUD - FTQ48TAVJUD*
Goodman Air Handler Models:
- AVPTC Series - 36000 BTUs and larger
- ARPT Series - 24000 BTUs and larger
- ARUF Series - 30000 BTUs and larger
- ASUF Series - 29000 BTUs and larger
- ASPT Series - 24000 BTUs and larger
