Product Overview
A line set is required for installation of a mini split air conditioner and 1/2 inch insulation is recommended for all systems. A line set is two semi-flexible copper pipes which connect the outdoor air conditioner or heat pump to the indoor air handler. They are a smaller pipe, the liquid line and a larger pipe, the suction line. Both lines are insulated on mini-split line sets. The first measurement, liquid line diameter is available in 1/4 or 3/8 inches, and the suction line, the second measurement is available as 1/2, 3/8 or 5/8 inches depending on the size and efficiency of the air conditioner or heat pump. The last measurement is the length, which is available in differing sizes.
This line set has a 1/4" liquid line, 3/8" suction line, a 25' length and attached flare nuts. Line set includes 1/2" insulation.
