A Reznor DJ20 High Altitude Kit /Pressure Switch is required when installing your Reznor heater above 6000 feet (1830 meters). Several kits are available and specific to the Reznor heater you are installing.
 
The 197117 High Altitude Kit is the appropriate kit required for high altitude installation of the following Reznor Heaters:
  • Power Vented Fan-Type Heaters:
    • UDAP-30, UDAP-45, UDAP-125, UDAP-150 and UDAP-175
  • Separated Combustion Fan-Type Heaters:
    • UDAS-150, UDAS-175
  • Power Vented Blower-Type High Static Heaters:
    • UDBP-30, UDBP-45, UDBP-100, UDBP-125, UDBP-150, UDBP-175
  • Separated Combustion Blower-Type High Static Heaters:
    • UDBS-30, UDBS-100, UDBS-150, UDBS-175
Please note if you are installing your Reznor Heater above 2000 feet the input rate must be derated and this is done simply by adjusting the valve outlet (see installation manual). You do not need to install anything further.
