Burners are certified to work with SPECIFIC Log Sets only. While there may be several allowable Log Sets for a specific burner, they are NOT universal. Using a burner with a non-compatible log set can lead to Fire, Carbon Monoxide Poisoning and Property Damage.
The HTSP-R18-P double tube, vented burner for use with liquid propane. It includes a safety pilot/standing pilot and an on/off and hi/lo remote valve installed. A basic on/off remote is included. Otherwise, the safety pilot only requires you the turn the knob or push the igniter button. The double tube burner is a pan style burner, but as the name states in includes two tubes. The additional tube allows the burner to produce a more realistic ember bed and dancing flames. With the hi/lo valve, you can also adjust the flame height.
Each double tube burner includes the burner and grate as well as sand (NG only), vermiculite (to evenly distribute the flames across the length of the burner as well as insulating the burner plan), glowing embers (a decorative material that glows, enhancing the real look of your gas fire), and lava rock (for a charred authentic fire feel). A remote, installation instructions, flex line and pipe fittings and a damper clamp are also included in the box.
Majestic Classic Series log sets are available for use with this burner. Log set is sold separately. Shown below is an example of the log sets (show in 24"). The 18" and 24" Timberland Oak log sets each include an additional front log. This log helps achieve the "Smoldering" Timberland Oak Log Set. The 30" log sets requires the purchase of the additional front log for the same look.
