Product Overview
This is the indoor air handler ONLY.
The AMVT air handler uses an Electronically Commutated Motor (ECM) for better efficiency and variable speed capabilities. This allows it to maintain consistent airflow and comfort, making it an energy efficient option. The series also features internal factory-installed thermal expansion valves (TXV) for cooling and heat pump applications. They also feature integrated communicating ComfortBridge Technology. This technology moved the communicating circuit /control board from your thermostat right into the system, allowing it to monitor and optimize energy efficiency and performance, while giving you the indoor comfort you expect! In conjunction with the Cool Cloud App and its Bluetooth connectivity, ComfortBridge Technology allows for easy set-up, configuration and diagnostics. It also gives technicians historic data and provides assistance in identifying and troubleshooting any issues. The app gives you information regarding the system settings for both indoor and outdoor equipment. It also stores all of the connected equipment's information including model and serial numbers as well as giving you a place to store notes about your equipment or system. And, with ComfortBridge Technology built-in to your unit you can easily upgrade to a smart home thermostat or use a basic thermostat.
The AMVT can be installed horizontally or vertically and is only 21" deep - making it easier for attic installation. Optional electric heater kits (sold separately) are available for the AMVT42CP1300 from 3kW up to 15kW.
The AMVT42CP1300 is a variable speed 42,000 BTU (3-1/2 ton) air handler. It can be used with several different condensers. Depending on the series, the air handler can be used with 2-1/2, 3 and 3-1/2 ton condensers:
