Give your property a homelike appearance with a Vert-I-Pak Vertical Packaged Air System - a simpler way to condition multiple rooms. Vert-I-Pak fits neatly into a typical mechanical closet, so you can create indoor living spaces that are more versatile. Since the system fits into a closet with an outside wall, guests and tenants will enjoy a quieter, visually appealing living space, without giving up individual, in-room temperature control or access to windows. Even quieter operating sound levels may be achieved by insulating the closet. In keeping with quieter operational sound levels, the Friedrich VTAC units slide into a wall plenum and a gasket seals it to the chassis and the extra thick rubber grommets help to reduce vibration noise.

The VHA18K models are 208/230 Volt and feature a large, 47" tall, chassis while still keeping the same 23" x 23" footprint as the shorter units. It includes 18400 BTUs cooling capacity and 16700 BTUs reverse cycle heat pump operation. The new Friedrich line of VTACs all feature an 11.0 EER.
The Friedrich Vert-I-Pak Systems are available with your choice of electric back-up heater size. The VHA18K34RTP includes a 3.4 Kw electric heater and requires a 25 Amp circuit. Other options of electric heat include 2.5 Kw (20 Amp circuit) (VHA18K25RTP - Special Order), 5.0 Kw (30 Amp circuit) (VHA18K50RTP) and 7.5 Kw (45 Amp circuit) (VHA18K75RTP).

- Eliminates the clutter of split systems and the need for multiple PTACs
- No refrigerant lines running from floor to floor
